physical signs :of edward's syndrome
some physical signs of Edward's syndrome include the following:
- the shape of the head would be abnormal
- mouth and jaw are small and not fully developed
- ears are low-set
- feet are smooth and have a rounded base ('rocker' feet)
- hands are clenched into fists and thumbs are underdeveloped and fingers are overlapped and long
- hypoplastic nails
- small pelvis
- eye malformation
- limb defects
- vertebral anomalies
- weak crying in infants
- short sternum
- birth weight is low
- recessed chin
- kidney issues/defects
- developmental delays
